Fintrinsic LLC ("we," "us," or "Fintrinsic") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. It applies to all users of the Fintrinsic platform, website, and related services.
1. What We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account information: Your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Assessment responses: Answers you provide during the financial assessment and career interest assessment, including your age range, employment status, income range, financial goals, and confidence level.
- Video progress: Which videos you have watched, how far you progressed in each video, and completion status.
- Location (optional): If you provide your city, state, or zip code, we use it to show cost-of-living context and localized career salary data. This field is optional.
- Usage data: Basic information about how you interact with the platform, such as pages visited and features used.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Personalization: We use your assessment responses to build a personalized learning path, recommend relevant content, and provide localized financial context.
- Progress tracking: We track video progress so you can pick up where you left off, earn milestones, and see your learning journey.
- Admin reporting: If you are part of an organization, your administrator can see aggregated progress metrics (completion rates, average knowledge scores, active learner counts). Administrators cannot see your individual assessment responses, income information, or detailed financial data.
- Service improvement: We use aggregated, anonymized data to improve the platform, develop better content, and understand how learners engage with the material.
3. What Administrators Can See
If you access Fintrinsic through an organization, your administrator has access to:
- Your name and email address
- Overall learning path progress (percentage complete)
- Number of videos completed
- Knowledge check scores (aggregate, not individual question responses)
- Last active date
Administrators cannot see:
- Your individual assessment responses (income, debts, financial situation)
- Your location data
- Your career assessment answers or career match results
4. Data We Do Not Sell
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising. Your financial assessment data is used solely to personalize your experience on Fintrinsic.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in Supabase, a cloud database platform with encryption at rest and in transit. Our infrastructure is hosted in the United States. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication, and row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Fintrinsic:
- Supabase: Database and authentication. Your account data, assessment responses, and progress are stored here.
- Vercel: Application hosting. Serves the Fintrinsic web application.
- Vimeo: Video hosting and playback. Videos are embedded from Vimeo. Vimeo may collect its own usage data subject to its privacy policy.
We do not share your personal information with any other third parties.
7. Cookies
Fintrinsic uses cookies solely for authentication purposes — to keep you logged in across sessions. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics cookies. No third-party cookies are set by Fintrinsic.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export your data in a portable format

9. Children's Privacy
Fintrinsic is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use of Fintrinsic after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
